Safer Internet Talk

To kick start our upcoming Safer Internet Week (Feb 5th - 9th) Detective Inspector Martin visited the Year 5 and Year 6 classes this week to talk about and give advice on how they can keep safe while using the internet.  His talk included a couple of wonderful video clips and 4 main points to remember.

1. The internet is forever...
2. Never give out your personal information
3. Never reply/answer calls and texts from anyone you do not know
4. Deal with 'hacks' intelligently

If in doubt always ask a trusted adult

During Safer Internet week we will be talking further about keeping safe online with all year groups.  Detective Inspector Martin will also be returning to deliver a talk to parents on how they can support and help to keep their children safe online on Wednesday 7th February at 7pm.
